We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in managing projects within Chemical Plants and LNG Terminals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing Time Card Management Projects for 3rd parties, with specific expertise in the MCI Track application. This role requires exceptional project management skills, the ability to navigate complex environments with multiple vendors, and a strong focus on issue resolution, timeline management, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of Time Card Management Projects, ensuring all project goals are achieved on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  2. MCI Track Application Expertise:
    • Leverage extensive experience with the MCI Track application to customize, implement, and optimize the system for Time Card Management.
    • Provide guidance and support to project teams in navigating and troubleshooting MCI Track-related issues.
  3. Vendor Management:
    • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple vendors involved in the project, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment with project goals.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  4. Time and Budget Management:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Compliance Requirements:
    • Possess a Transit Worker Identification Card (TWIC) before coming onsite, with current certification.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the IT field.
    • Proven experience in managing projects within Chemical Plants and LNG Terminals.
    • Demonstrated expertise with the MCI Track application.
  3. Skills:
    • Exceptional project management skills with a focus on delivering results.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
    • Familiarity with Time Card Management systems and related technologies.
  4. Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
